It always takes a village to create a worship service, and this week I’m grateful once again ... 

- to Dr. Stan Workman, director of music here at Second Pres, and Justin Wiget, director of music at All Saints’ Episcopal Church across town for providing the music;

- to soloist and Second Pres member Valerie Webb for today’s special music, “O Rest in the Lord” from Felix Mendelssohn’s oratorio, “Elijah”;

- and to Mike Raies, an elder at Second Pres, for today’s readings.
